Their leader is an ex-CIA agent named Commander Kahn who monitors the planet for cries for help. When he finds one, he sends the agents - Spin, Chieftain and J - who help their subjects via the medium of song and dance. Note that there is a group of Elite Beat Divas too, for when the job gets really tough, Commander Kahn can send in the girls. As the music plays, players tap the lower screen with the stylus and trace rhythmic patterns to keep to the beat as the story unfolds - comic book-style on the top screen. The hypnotic nature of the rocking agents revives the subjects with 'Groovy' energy that boosts their willpower and helps them overcome their obstacles.
