Summary

Viva Pinata truly is a breakthrough Xbox 360 game set to appeal to the very young and the elderly young-at-heart. Indeed, it's one of those rare (Rare!) games that parents will genuinely enjoy playing with their children. It's an act of delightfully pure imagination, and for this it should be heaped with praise.

The game invites you to escape to Piñata Island, where wild-roaming, living piñata animals are looking for a home. Horstachios, Fizzlybears, Fudgehogs, Mousemallows, Elephanillas and Pretztails are just a handful of the 60 species of wild piñata you will find and, hopefully, nurture in your garden.

Create and customise your garden as you see fit in order to attract, tame and nurture the wild piñatas and make their experience uniquely their own. The game is all about personalisation, so you can name your piñatas, choose accessories for them to wear, decide where to plant grass and flowers, and more. It's a colourful, fully customisable world with all kinds of possibilities.

‘Viva Piñata’ gameplay is also extended through the Xbox Live, with subscribers able to connect with friends, family or other players from around the globe to trade items from their piñata paradise — everything from the smallest plant to the largest piñata. Xbox Live will also offer accessories for download into the game to personalise your piñata collections.
