Summary

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth is a first-person horror game which combines intense action and adventure elements as you plummet headlong into the tormented life of Jack Walters. A private investigator by trade, Jack is touched by the Cthulhu Mythos, and for the remainder of his life finds himself haunted by visions and thoughts of things that should not be, as he struggles to retain his sanity and humanity in the Dark Corners of the Earth.

The game is set in the 1920s, with authentic weapons, clothing and architecture bringing New England to life. The game features the many terrifying and dark creations of H.P. Lovecraft, a man who corresponded with Conan the Barbarian creator Robert E. Howard and inspired the likes of Stephen King and Anne Rice. You'll have to solve puzzles as well as explore the titular dark corners and fight monsters, but you'll also have to fight for your sanity. A 'Dynamic Sanity' system will keep the hallucinations, paranoia, panic attacks and vertigo coming. A sometimes terrifying experience, this game is sure to delight fans of Lovecraft's work and entertain fans of the survival horror genre.
