Pro Tennis WTA Tour - Xbox
Summary
With Wimbledon 2002 merely a faded memory and Britain's notorious long, hot summer (???) currently in its last few days of blue-ish skies, Konami have stepped up to remind us that it'll all come around again soon enough with the release of Pro Tennis WTA Tour on Xbox.

With regards to the gameplay, Pro Tennis WTA Tour presents simplistic, arcade-style play mechanics, together with an accurate simulation of the sport. All the featured playing surfaces, such as grass, clay, and carpet accurately emulate their respective physics, ensuring players experience a little variety in terms of handling and thus providing a lengthier learning curve and more challenging matches.
As far as game modes are concerned, it's pretty much a standard affair. The usual array of tournaments, single player matches and multiplayer doubles games can be found, nothing seems to have been overlooked by Konami.
Pro Tennis WTA Tour is a very competent title. Konami's well-respected range of sports titles continues to grow.
