Summary

Ever since governments started banning things, people started smuggling them. It seems to be the case that if people want something that they can’t freely buy, smugglers will - for a small premium - supply it to them. Smuggler's Run from Rockstar Games puts you in the driving seat of a dune buggy in the desert, forests, and on an arctic wasteland. You have to drive around looking for cargo to steal. This can be stolen from either a legitimate trucker or a fellow smuggler.

Smuggler's Run from Rockstar Games puts you in the driving seat of a dune buggy in the desert, forests, and on an arctic wasteland. You have to drive around looking for cargo to steal. This can be stolen from either a legitimate trucker or a fellow smuggler.

As with other Rockstar titles, Smuggler's Run features loads and loads of highly aggressive police, CIA and military personnel looking to thwart your activities. They will do this by following you around and crashing into you until your vehicle is destroyed. The level of damage detail is very impressive, as is the AI of the other vehicles you encounter. All high octane, flying-through-the-air action. Cool!

There are three major play modes: Smuggler's Run, a mission-based campaign split over 20 levels which follows a distinct narrative; Turf Wars, a more arcade style of game made up of various racing and smuggling activities; and Joyriding, a much needed rest from the rigours of crime allowing the player to roam free across the environment of their choice. If you are looking for a Driver-style game on GBA, Smuggler's Run is for you. << less
