Summary

Lately, is seems there’s always someone out to spoil everybody’s Christmas spirit. First there was Scrooge, but taking his place is a fury little green monster, otherwise known as The Grinch. Surprisingly, the roles have been reversed for this GameBoy Color version of the game. Here, you must take control of The Grinch and his pet friend Max, in a mission to finish Christmas once and for all by stealing all the presents from the Whoville village.

Now, due to the technical limitations of the GameBoy, this particular version is set to be an entirely different experience. Set in a 2D environment, it will quickly become apparent that there are striking similarities to Namco classic, Pac-Man. Basically, you must work your way through a series of Christmas themed mazes, stealing the presents along the way. But beware, the people of Whoville are out to stop your miserable antics, and must be avoided at all costs. Levels become rapidly harder, incorporating more village people, and even more complex mazes.

If you consider yourself to be a scrooge, or you consider yourself to be a fan of Pac-Man, then The Grinch will be a surprising hit in your stocking this Christmas.
