The thief returns in the all-new sequel cleverly named Thief 2 on your PC. Imagine medieval Metal Gear Solid for thieves, if you will, and you have given yourself a pretty good idea of what this game is all about.

The stealth aspect of Thief 2 plays a huge part in your survival against the huge numbers of sword-bearing guards. Thanks to the “Enhanced Dark Engine,” you're able to use a crystal that can be used as an indicator, telling to how well hidden you are. While this may appear to be a simple attribute, the calculations needed to accurately incorporate this feature are quite complex, and should be given credit. You will need a very sensible approach to this game if you are to succeed. You need to be patient, be adaptive to the conditions surrounding you, and be prepared to find other solutions to the problems given to you. Stealing is also of relative importance here. If you are to survive, then you must lurk around, pocketing any cash you might find on your travels. You are after all, a thief.

With fifteen huge missions to complete within an involving story line and an abundance of sub plots, there is a lot of work to be done, so get cracking. << less
