Summary

In Cold Blood for the PC is an involving and compelling title that draws you in right from the start. You assume the role of John Cord, an American agent who is looking for his lost accomplice. You need to figure out what happened to him, if you are to stand any chance of survival. This is a tough game, but perseverance will be rewarded. In Cold Blood is a graphic adventure with a polygonal central character similar to Resident Evil.

Stealth is rewarded, as it is necessary to use cunning to make it through certain sections of the game. In the very start of the game, you must sneak into the enemy’s base, crawling on your hands and knees. Taking out a few guards and stealing their ammo will help you in your mission. The puzzles that you have to solve are tricky, but logical. Combining Items together produces new inventory selections that can be used in certain sections of the levels.

In Cold Blood has an ominous mood that grips you and induces fear. It’s easy to get lost in the immersive environment and believe you are John Cord. The full-motion video is well done and moves the story along nicely. If you like taxing your brain and reflexes, In Cold Blood could be an enjoyable game for you.
