The Street Fighter series has been running so long it has almost become an institution. There is good reason for this success and that is how brilliantly designed and balanced the gameplay has become. It’s down to games like Street Fighter that the beat-em-up genre has become so popular. Going by sales figures for the last nine years it seems that the gaming public loves updates to a winning formula. Learning, understanding the new characters and applying the new techniques found in the different versions is definitely part of the appeal.

Most importantly is how excellent the two-player mode is. Because this is such a well established franchise there has to be millions of players worldwide that know how to play. Having a winning streak while playing winner stays on at home or the arcade is such a good feeling. Street Fighter EX3 is a game of skill, practice and timing. There are many combos here for you to learn and master. Being able to cancel special moves into supers is a nice feature that often leads to fantastic special effects. EX3 has several modes of play including one Vs. three all at the same time, which is fun but tricky.
Street Fighter EX3 for the Playstation 2 is one game that deserves taking a look at whether you are a fan of the series or not. There is a lot on offer here to suit different tastes and playing styles.

Street Fighter is the template with deserved justification.
