Sega Rally 2 - Dreamcast
Summary
One frequent fault of computer driving games is that they don't give you that white-knuckle-ride feeling of pure out-of-control adrenalin speed. Sega Rally doesn't fall foul of this trap. Although it's surely 100% accurate, the feeling is of scale speeds of around a thousand miles an hour.

Another common problem with Rally driving games is that in the interests of giving that full-on reverse-lock drifting round corners feeling, they occasionally seem more like hovercraft racing than car racing games. Again. Sega Rally manages to steer clear of this trap.
As a result, Sega Rally champoinship is a fast driving game with just the right amount of feel, and a dramatic amount of drift, that makes it challenging and fun. With the pedigree of the arcade version and the Saturn version behind it, would you really expect anything less?
This version, Sega Rally Championship has a full 10 year competition, as well as an arcade mode. To top it all off, the most beautiful rally car ever, the Lancia Stratos, lines up against a range of more modern vehicles including the awesome (but ugly) Subaru Impreza. << less
