Summary
The phrase Lemming meets Cannon Fodder was coined by GameBase founder Marcus Dyson, but never a truer word was spoken. Small cute characters wage wacky war with accompanying silly samples and cartoon chaos. Developed on the Amiga, and essentially a 'homage' to shareware favourites Scorched Earth and Tanks, Worms went on to sell a gazillion copies on almost as many formats. CD32 version benefited from last minute addition of hilarious Amiga Lightwave generated cut scene anims.
