Would anybody have bought GTA4 solely on the basis of Lost and Damned? I don't think so - the DLC groupies would almost certainly have bought GTA4 either on the box copy's own merits or the promise of future DLC.

Which make me wonder, did the lure of "exclusive DLC" for the 360 buoy up the platform's market share and if so, how would the split have looked had the L&D DLC also come to PS3, or even PS3 exclusive.

Who cares!? Really!? At the end of the day, what lame ass hermit really gives two tosses about what format sold more copies of the same game? Does it increase/decrease the enjoyment? NO! Will it help you pay the bills? NO!

I stopped giving a damn about any form of sales figures in video gaming long, long ago at a good young age, thankfully I avoided being a anti-social misfit by not spouting which gaming system sold more copies of "Bunney Basher" or whatever the hell it was at the time that the nerd's were argumentatively creaming over

For god sakes people, just play your damn games and enjoy them without embarrasing yourself into short, shrivelled pointless arguements on behalf of big corporate giants that probably just sit there in their towers and laugh at you, not caring of your opinion and just grinning that they got your hard earned money!

anyhoo, agre with config, if sale sof 360 were to take into account those buying on the basis of DLC did this save face for MS on a 50/50 basis, i got 360 version for future DLC as i knew PS3 wouldnt have it at least not all of it, and also acheivements, loves me acheivements.
