Does anyone know the reason why she is resigning? Is it related to the WoW is the cause of college drop outs hype that she caused before? I myself am a college student and my grades are doing ok though I spend a significant amount of time grinding levels, farming wow gold, doing raids and other stuff.

man... this seems like the time the government will step in and try to regulate more of our lives.. instead, blizzard should just make it easier to farm wow gold so that kids can have time to go to school. i'm sure if blizzard won't voluntarily do it, people will complain to the government and they'll force blizzard to do something about it

She is 'stepping down' due to taking up other commitments - e.g. joining the board of one of the companies she formerly oversaw in the FCC. Also, with a Republican leaving the presidency and a less Republican moving in, she might have to work with Democrat-appointees. And nobody wants to have to do that.
Cheers
