This really was rumour confirmation time for Microsoft. The only surprises were no motion sensing and FF XIII.

This is really big news, it’s going to be a massive hit to the Sony show tomoz, and after reading various sites and forums I can see a lot and I mean ALOT of hurt Sony fan boys, who`s only attack now is the fact this will ship on multiple disc (unconfirmed but pretty darn obvious), I say well done MS, and those lots and lots of cases of money you left on Squeenix doorstep are worth it.

Gears 2, Resi 5, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Banjo, Lips, a few Square Enix JRPGS, GTA Exclusive Content, New Interface, and Now FFXIII s**t the only thing my PS3 was good for was MGS4 and now I wished I didn’t get it as I can foresee it hitting 360 next year!

No wonder at the beginning of the conference he stated that MS would beat PS3 on sale this gen, with a FFXIII in his back pocket of secrets,

From what we're hearing out of Square Enix, it looks like FF XIII is still exclusive to PS3 in Japan, coming out there first and it's only on 360 in English speaking territories.

It's still a shock announcement and a real feather in Microsoft's cap. On the other hand, it was about the only thing they had to say today that we didn't already know, suspect or feel "meh" about.

yes the lack of applause at pre-expected moments was quite funny at times, you could actually hear the injected pauses of complete silenced followed by feel sorry for them claps, lol, but agreed apart from the FF13 there wasnt much else but Fable, Gears and Fallout are now top o my list, like they wernt already.

Gears looks excellent, the numbers of Locusts on screen is now close to giving Heavenly Sword a run for its money.

I just hope the "meat shield" mechanic isn't this game's answer to the first one's cover system. i.e. you have to use this mechanic to progress.
