doesnt he mean its a limited multimedia device? as a console i think it does what it says on the tin.

I own a Wii and a 360 (got rid of the PS3) and I have to admit given the features the Wii has like the online voting, weather, news and Mii channels and the fact that it does have games I actually want to play its great to have a Wii60 combo.

Given that there arent a huge amount of games I want on the Wii it certainly has more than the PS3 I used to own. I have Res Evil 4, Umbrella Chronicles and the Wii Zapper might get Metroid Prime 3 at some point. Also have owned and played Zelda on the Wii which was superb as well.

Microsoft need to stop the digging at the Wii then prasing it, the Wii definently has non-gamers hooked and new-comers to gaming hooked so what I think Microsoft are trying to say is that they hope these new gamers will then look to get an Xbox 360 as well at some point for gaming.

Funny isnt it, a year ago, Sony and MS both saying Wii`s in diff market and its great at what it is, now there are saying it is console and its limited.

Wii is limited in respect of controls, Devs need to use the wiir emote and nunchuck in new and exceiting ways which they arent, and as such is limiting the volume of good games avalible, but if some care and attention some style and art and some love and kindness was placed into the consoles games then they too would see nintendo style sales.

The future is simply PS3 or 360 & Wii, Wii pull out for partys for fun and games with family and freinds and occasional hardcore Zelda / Metroid / Mario sessions the PS3 and 360 will be the Dominant Consoles for `GAMING`, the Wii will be what it is a family entertainment unit, the competition this time round is the 360 and PS3 as everyone will own a Wii eventually, and if you dont own one by 2010 kelloggs will be giving them away in special packs of Cornflakes and Frosties.

to SS nowhere does he dig the Wii, he points out that Wii & 360 should live together not one or the other, and its a veiw pretty much all harcore gamers are adopting, infact yourself i believe own a Wii and a 360, (after selling your PS3 in what will be the Year of the PS3?) so you back up his comments nicely.

Limited console? A phrase about pots and kettles springs to mind. The 360 is massively limited by the foolish decision to stick with DVD (in order, as we now know, to rush it to market to get one up on Sony). Wii does what it says it does, and does it well enough to be the console of choice for kids, families and parties. PS3 will be the console for the true gamers, and the 360 will die due to limitations, poor design, and overall just being t**tty.

To whom is it the year of the PS3? What around 3 titles that are big names? Whilst I can name many more on the Xbox 360, I rather have my £425 back than to wait on 1 game that interests me and that was FF13 since many PS only games are now appearing on the 360 I dont see the point.

Xbox 360's online potential in gaming and content supercedes any other gaming platform.
