Maybe all those Christmas shoppers are confusing the TV ad's pre-rendered video with "actual gameplay", and believe that the Wii can now produce next-gen quality graphics and not composite video sludge.
Not unlikely given the way the commercial cuts to and fro "game" footage and flailing players.
