nice caption...not.
Bugger all Innovation without Implementation. Thats at least as bad as Taxation without Representation.
and this story IS all about catching LIVE! up in implementation, how fast is PSN going to come up to the speed of LIVE!, seems like they need to do it quickly, or they'll face a difficult to surmount image problem. You get what you pay for will become the wisdom of the day.
a nifty rhyme is a poor excuse for spewing a buzzword which loses a little bit of its gravitas every time its overused...bloody word is getting into the negative mass. I cringe every time I see it nowadays. I mean when a word is so overused IB-bloody-M, poster children for corporate dinosaurs everywhere, can base an ad campaign on making fun of people who use it...

Even bad innovations have their uses, if it is only to show the inherent faults in a existing structure. They also close a certain option that doesn't need to be tried again. Like the making of the lightbulb... i think it was around 150 tries that he got it right. Or the nation-state as a political-economic unit.
A lot of what we take for granted these days are results that only happened after numerous failed innovations. They do have their purpose.

[random nonsense]
Oh its not the innovation itself that I object to...its the...deification of innovaton as an end unto itself.
Its the people with the temerity to demand it, as though innovation can be bought, or produced from a spigot at will. People who forget that past returns are no guarantee of future performance.
Like some chubby, spoiled 14-year old girl wearing a purple belly shirt a size too small with sparkle print that says "Sexy" on Jerry Springer, Innovation proclaims "You don't own me! I do what I want!"
Neccessity may be the mother of Invention, but Innovation was spawned from Serendipity...we don't know who the baby daddy is...she says Genius, but then the bitch would say that.
Its a caption that makes no sense in the context. Sir Howie doesn't need to innovate, hes got people working on that, full-time salary, but they could have the Next Great Idea tommorow and he'd still need to get his bloody ducks in a row. Aside from that...dunno, duh...making a concerted effort to make things easier for 3rd parties to dev on his console would probably help more than another gadget or quirky game.

You know, if you can manage to get a few fingers through, we might be able to pull the rest of you from out of your own arse.

meh, you're just jealous because I know when I'm full of s**t...but then, I'm sure if you had such an awareness it would have long since become desensitized from overstimulation.
