Don't get me wrong, I love that Wii Sports did so well, but I'd say other games in the Innovation category might have deserved it more.
And the Casual category? Well, Wii Sports does have a place there, but just look at the others. I'm amazed one of the Brain titles didn't pick that one up.

I think Wright was the correct choice. What has Braben achieved since Elite? And nothing that Peter M has done really comes close to Spore, in terms of ambition.
