Sony went out and made themselves a $1000 console that they're selling for $600/$500. There's not much you can do for them.

Historically the PS2 sold the same numbers in it's first year. The internal price of the PS3 has dropped over the past 10 months so I'm positive that there will be a price drop this holiday. After this price drop most will stop complaining. The PS3 is a quality built piece of hardware. Leave it on for days, weeks if you want, no worries like it's half-baked contender giving you the 3 fingered solute and quiting the fight so to speak. Sony always delivers and this gen will be no different. I have not lost faith so don't any of you. Good times all around and enjoy.

agreed but the fact the PS3 doesnt overheat as easily as pre-additional heatsink 360`s doesnt really make it a half baked contender, a price drop would be an ecellent start but software is where its at, if Sony had the software the price drop would`nt be so much an issue.
