In case you really don't know and weren't being sarcastic (just being Devil's Advocate...), the 'third place' was the marketing slogan for the PS2 during its launch period in Europe (well, certainly the UK).
Surely it should try and reach fourth place now with PS3? You could easily manipulate the charts and whack the DS in there somewhere. ;)
As for Nintendo, I hope these 'hardcore' releases will satisfy that burning desire I've been holding up inside now for some good old fashioned Nintendo action. I'm starting to wonder if my Wii's really just for burning money on games I already have...

Nintendo is the weakest console with the worst selection of games. Just goes to show how crap some people are at judgement. PS3 has outsold the 360 in Japan and Europe, the only place that the 360 is ahead of PS3 is in America.
PS3 > 360 > Wii(Sorry, but it's just AWFUL.)
