Recognize that Sonic is too fast for a gamecharacter to exist in 3D and keep him 2D. Secret Rings proves it the best. A more polished sequel would be the best 3D Sonic game ever but still will have many kinks because Sonic level deisgn doesn't really work in 3D...or is not accepted in 3D.

Sonic is about blazing trough levels by learning evey jumppoint and timing to the millisecond. Secret Rings had that too but it still doesn't really work in 3D.

What would work in 3D is Sonic Racing... F-Zero style!

I think it should be like Monkey Ball, but with jumping and bouncing.
