This sounds like potentially an amazing game.
The lower screen does look basically just like a map, though; they could make it look more interesting.
I don't know how it downloads maps - i presume you have to connect to the internet and do it yourself, so that you can get the right map.
It would be good if you were going on a journey somewhere anyway, except it could be distracting. It would be funny if in the game it told you to steal some treasure, when in reality you were going down to the supermarket and stealing a bar of chocolate!
I can't really imagine, actually, how you can integrate the real world with a game, whilst being immersed in playing the game, yet also having to navigate reality at the same time.
