That is just what mine did yesterday in that video. Exept mine is the normal 360. Made the same horrible noise, crunch, cracked and now plays nothing.

It has just been picked up from UPS. The best thing is, the machine that has just been picked up, is a replacement from 2 weeks ago when my older machine had the three red lights of death.

Its getting a joke now microsoft, how long can you keep getting away with this s**t.

Where's that 120gb hard drive? Think I'll settle with that.

Mine was broken out of the box, Walmart was kind enough to exchange. I may return it this Elite and buy a used Core with a warrantee and buy a PS3. I cant see anyone investing in one of these. Im too scared to buy and add on HD,, too risky, plus I ended up going through 6 regular Xbox's that broke.

I've owned an original XBOX for the last year and a half - I just sold it on Ebay for about $380 so I could buy the Elite. Got the Elite yesterday - no problems with it at all. Already have the HD Add-on - LOVE IT. Great picture, and I use the sound throught the Optical so I can get Dolby Didgital Plus.

I don't see this as being a risky investment . . .you have a pretty big company backing it with a lot of money. I think you also get a year warranty now, as opposed to the 90 day'er offered by Sony. . .

Gears of War is the best game I've ever played. Halo 3 won't eclipse it, I promise.

Got my first Elite switching from the PS2. Wow xbox live is great but why do they charge?, and how come the controllers don't come with rechargable batteries. Anyways it's working fine, i think it's a matter of you get a good one or you don't. Sort of with Ford haha.
