You know this is good news (which I first thought was an early April Fools). Back in the day, I couldn't afford a Sega Saturn, next to having an N64, so I missed out on the Nights games. I felt they weren't a patch on Mario 64, but done something good and different in their own right.
Glad to see Sega getting with the program, and giving gamers a long overdue twilight adventure. Would be sweet if we got the originals included as a free bonus too. I also think that Sonic SotR shows that Sega still have it when they try hard enough.
After Nights, maybe the can get back to sorting out the Shinobi series, after that horrible Saturn version.

Saturn was my favourite console. I loved NiGHTS, although the experience wasn't complete without Christmas NiGHTS as well, which has more long term value, thanks to time attack and link attack modes, as well as time-specific features. I didn't buy a Xbox, PS2 or Gamecube...although I did win a PS2 in a compo, that generation of consoles never interested me much, and likewise X360, PS3, Wii, etc - nothing has made me want to buy any of 'em yet. But a new NiGHTS game could just clinch it, and make me get a Wii. ^_^ =P That's if it's any good. It could be some kinda novelty spin off. I'll wait and see.

I waited a year and a half for the N64, going without Christmas and birthday presents, just to get one at launch, but although I loved Mario64, the other games never did it for me. Luckily my Dad spent a load of money on my sister's education in the US and wanted to even the boat for me, so offered to buy me a second console...so I got the Saturn, and never looked back.
Am looking at all the previews of Virtual Fighter 5 on PlayStation3, and thinking: Ahhh! But is it as good as Fighter's Megamix for the Saturn??

Yeah, I forgot about the PS2 Shinobi. Maybe Sega should take hints from Tenchu and Devil May Cry to fix that series. I'm all for Sega recapturing their past form though, they seem to have become a spent and forgotten force of late. Let hope things are getting better.
I managed to get a Saturn from Ebay, to enjoy some classics but Nights I don't have.
