most people have only just got into buying there 1st generation HD telly's so maybe in about 3 years when most programs are viewed in HD people will think about upgrading to the newer sets using 1080p.... by then we'll probably be lookin @ the next generation of consoles

1080p/60 or 1080p/30? One is "True HD", the other is identical to 1080i/60.

I'm still waiting on a decent TV with 1080p native at a reasonable price. Come on Samsung get some of your US T.V's over here.
