*lets out a scream*
E3 is going to be really good. I think that Nintendo is going to own it by the sounds of things....
Congrats Spong on setting the Internet alight with speculation...again.

Kid Icarus... hmmm... most rumours are pointing that if Nintendo is making a Kid Icarus game... they're going to drop the Kid part and turn him into the angel of death or something with a flaming sword and s**t... which could get fun...
Offcourse, those rumours do originate from all those blogs made by people with too much time on their hands.

The surge of rumours seemed to come around the time of April Fool's Day. What a joke, because all it does is make those sites lose credibility, and wastes my time.
Pilotwings is what I must be looking forward to most. It might have been a new Mario game, but I'm skeptical nowadays, after the Gamecube Mario games. Mario Sunshine was good, but I was the only person in the whole world who thought so, and they could have done with a real Mario game as well.
I suppose the Gamecube really was meant to be like it was, to fill in the gap between then and now. It was a bit strange that Nintendo were going on about reaching the limit in graphics, when the Gamecube's graphics were mostly quite basic.
Hopefully, the reason the Gamecube only had a few proper big franchise games was that they were working on them being even better, for the next generation, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

Kid Icarus with attitude? Why not give the Heavens a gritty, urban style, where you need to earn the 'respec' of the 'hoods mixed-race Gods?
Atari 2600, ZX Spectrum+, Sega Megadrive, Sega Saturn, N64, Dreamcast, GBA, Xbox, Gamecube, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360... so far.

You mean Grand Theft Halo: The war in Heaven? Coming next year to a next-gen console near you!
Caught between the Angels and the Devils, Icarus (or Ike to his homies) has to carve out his own turf, starting in limbo and progressing through Hell to Heaven then, betrayed by an alliance of God and the Devil, Ike is locked in purgatory for a few eons. Eventually, he busts out and is lusting for revenge.
Hey, someone get Rockstar on the phone, I've got a pitch for them!
