We knew the Revo wasn't going to be that powerful. We knew it wasn't going to have HD-TV. Even IGN didn't think that this would be too much of a problem - and I haven't heard anyone except for yourselves make the fact that the Revo's not going to be 360/PS3 power sound negative.

It's about gameplay, not power.

Who needs the better graphics anyway? I'm happy with current-gen. Resi 4, Metroid Prime all have excellent graphics.
No longer frequenting SPOnG. It's been nice knowing you guys :).

Right, so the Playstation 2 is actually a souped up playstation... wait it is! Jeezs...

What i think is that developers have been giving IGN the specs of their alpha-dev-kits who are (Nintendo said it so themselves) Gamecubes with more memory and maybe also higher clock speeds for the cpu and gpu. Does that mean that Revolution will be the same... crap no, the GPU isn't even finished (Come on built-in celshading technology! Gimme gimme)

Why is this very doubtable report by IGN, the fact that it states "it has 24 mb 1T-SRAM and 16 md D-Ram like the Gamecube + 64 mb blabla". that's odd , i thought the official specsheet of the Gamecube read 24 mb D-ram and 16 mb 1T-SRAM, oh look it does! Sure you can switch something sometimes with something else but that's just bad factknowledge on the whole line for a report of that level. IGN should have at least stated it that the dev mixed up the specs or something... now i'm just very confused and in doubt (about the truth of this IGN-report that is).

I hope 90% of developers don't develop for the Rev, the last thing Nintendo need for such an innovative console are lazy EA style ports of crappy Sports games and James Bond games.

Have we not learned from our history, power is useless wiythout innovative creative games.

Gamecube 2 is the highest accolade IGN could have bestowed on the Rev, I know that all may favourite gaming experiences over the last couple of years have been on the Gamecube, Metroid Prime, Resident evil 4, Wind Waker.

Is there not enough room in the market for true gamers to enjoy small, risky, brave projects that attempt to offer something new. I depair with this industry sometimes.
