Well that answers my only question...Tiger Woods is still a pretty piece of golf game rubbish. Tiger should be ashamed of himself for allowing his name to be put on such a jank-ass product. Its the antithesis of golf, in any decent golf game, any and all control options are set before or as you strike the ball, then you watch helplessly as the results unfold, being able to affect the ball in flight is utter ballocks.

unfortunately, Tiger is nearly the only game in town, the last IMNSHO "good" console golf game being Links 200(4?) for the original Xbox.
