Without wishing to be awkward, that byline image was originally published under a Creative Commons license and isn't property of Spong. You're welcome to use it, but branding it is a little bit off.

Sorry, that wasn't particularly descriptive and caught me in a slightly bad mood to boot. Anyway, specifically;
The image fronting this page is a piece of original photography that was published, on the internet, under a license that allows infinite reproduction but not appropriation - that is to say, use it but don't take credit for it. In my book, branding it qualifies as the latter. It comes a repository of images that (fair use aside) belong to somebody who hasn't granted permission for their being branded with someone else's name.
I'd hate to come across as awkward or bitter, or anything even approaching either of those, so sorry if that's the case.
