Summary
Left Field Productions is a small development company located in Westlake Village, California - 25 miles North of Los Angeles.
The company was founded in 1994 by Mike Lamb, Jeff Godfrey and John Brandwood. Each of the founders has more than sixteen years of experience in software and video game development.
Left Field Productions started out with a focus on creating sports titles and has had such past hits as NBA Courtside and Excitebike 64.
Software Highlights from Credited Titles
Left Field's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1999 title, "Beauty and the Beast" (Game Boy Color).
The company has been involved titles released on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PC, PSP, GameCube, Xbox, Game Boy Color and N64. Of these, "Excitebike 64" (N64) has been a best selling title.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2008 release "World Championship Off Road Racing" (Wii).
