Following the acquisition of the hit making ERE Informatiques by Infogrames, former ERE team members Philip Ulrich, Remi Herbulot, Patrick Dublanchet, Michel Rho and Stéphane Picq form the developer and label EXXOS.

The company is responsible for visually intriguing and popular Captian Blood and Purple Saturn Day.

After four years, the label is renamed in 1990 to Cryo Interactive.

Exxos's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1989 title, "Kult" (Amiga).

The company has been involved titles released on the Amiga and Spectrum 48K.

The company's most recent involvement was on the 1989 release "Purple Saturn Day" (Spectrum 48K).
