Full name: Incognito Entertainment Inc.
Established: 1999

Reason: Core team departed

Founded by Scott Campbell and David Jaffe, former employees of PS1-era developer SingleTrac Entertainment (Jet Moto, Twisted Metal), Incognito Entertainment is probably best known for its PS3 online shooter, Warhawk.

The company operated as a Sony studio and, prior to its Warhawk fame, was responsible for PS2 sequel Twisted Metal: Black Online and Downhill Domination.

The success of Warhawk came as something of a mix blessing, as its sole remit was said to have been that of support & maintenance of the online shooter. Soon after the game's release a number of the studio's key staff, including founders Campbell and Jaffe, left to start Eat Sleep Play. With Dylan Jobe elevated to studio chief Incognito continue its support of Warhawk until 2009 when, Jobe too departed with further staff form Lightbox Interactive. This move effectively killed Incognito, with Sony transferring support of Warhawk to the new company.
