Evolution Studios was formed in 1999 by Martin Kenwright (founder of Digital Image Design - creators of TFX, EF2000, F22, Wargasm) and Ian Hetherington (founder of Psygnosis).

Evolution 's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2001 title, "World Rally Championship" (PS2).

The company has been involved titles released on the PS3 and PS2. Of these, "Motor Storm" (PS3) and "World Rally Championship" (PS2) have been best selling titles.

The company is currently involved with the forthcoming 2008 release "Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice" (PS2).
