BioWare is an electronic entertainment company specializing in creating computer and console video games. Founded in 1995, BioWare Corp. is a privately owned Canadian corporation based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Software Highlights from Credited Titles
Bioware's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1996 title, "Shattered Steel" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the Xbox 360, PS2, PC, Power Mac, DS, Xbox and Dreamcast. Of these, "Mass Effect" (Xbox 360), "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" (Xbox), "Neverwinter Nights" (PC), "Jade Empire" (Xbox), "Mass Effect" (PC) has been a best selling title.
The company is currently involved with the forthcoming 2008 release "Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood" (DS).
