I seriously hope Koji joked about the nanomachines zombies. Also, if he retcons Gray Fox's fate Metal Gear Solid would lose most if its impact. Not to mention Fox would in his 60s during Rising 2.

Raiden for Rising 2, his story and battles against new enemies can be continued and have more potential,as sainta said Gray Fox's fate would lose it's meaning and impact, he had an epic fate it doesn't suit to revive him and ruin it
