That's right, Radiohead (yes, the band Radiohead) have published a mobile app called PolyFauna for iOS and Android devices.

They have described the endeavor as an "experimental collaboration between us (Radiohead) & Universal Everything", and they've used the imagery and sound from the song Bloom off of their latest album The King of Limbs.

The game itself takes players through a series of abstract environments populated by lifeforms drawn using the touchscreen by the player. By tilting the device, players are able to preview new worlds, before following a blinking red dot into the next one.

The app is inspired "from an interest in early computer life-experiments and the imagined creatures of our subconscious.".
