Guinness World Records defines the number for the biggest load of video games owned by one man.
The Guinness World Records organisation has attached itself to videogames for some time now. It's now defined the number of video games owned required for a world record.
As you can see from the video below, that number is 10,607. The owner of the hoard is one Michael Thomasson, a 43 year-old part-time games designer and coding teacher at Canisius College from Buffalo, New York State, USA who started his collection with Cosmic Avenger when he was 12.
His record - he claims 11,000 games - beats that the previous record holder, Richard Lecce, who held the record first recorded in 2010 with 8,616 games.
Thomasson tells the Associated Press, "I have games on cartridge, laser disc. I have VHS-based games, cassette-based games..."
