Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman has been forced into making a public statement (see the full thing below) regarding the Free the Games Fund set up to get exclusive games made for the Ouya console.
Uhrman states that, "The program wasn’t perfect (so) we’re fixing it. And if it’s still not perfect tell us and we’ll fix it again. But I think it’s important to note that we’re not going to pull this program. We think great games can be found by you, the gamer, who loves Ouya, who wants to see something special on it.” She also states that funding and backer changes are being made. There is also mention made of the makers of Gridiron Thunder, the game that drew suspicious glances due it massive backing.
