Ouya Launching on March 28, Without Certain Online Features
You'll get multiplayer, just not much else.

The Kickstarter-backed, Android-powered console Ouya will be shipping to backers without some of its promised online features. Instead chat functionality, friend lists and achievements will be arriving at some point after launch.
Company founder Julie Uhrman was reported by The Verge as stating that Ouya would not come with online multiplayer. Destructoid got in touch to clarify the statement, and it appears that online multiplayer will at least be supported on March 28.
So, after an initial round of confusion, it's clear that Ouya will offer online multiplayer, but no online services such as chat, friends and achievements.
Ahead of the console's soft launch later this month, Ouya is accepting game submissions and will offer special backing to the most popular games on the console. Read the blog entry here to see what's involved.
