Well would you believe it. According to a new study, female online gamers tend to prefer waggling plastic joysticks to getting down to some real-life bump n' grind.
In the bizarre survey, conducted by Doritos of all things, the sample of 2,052 people revealed that 49 per cent of women play online games - 84 per cent of those say they enjoy playing games, compared to 70 per cent that enjoy sex.
Gaming also comes out as more enjoyable than working out (62 per cent), shopping (71 per cent) and even having a bath (75 per cent). Women play games online for a longer period of time than men - 23.1 per cent to 22.3 per cent, and 17 per cent have admitted to taking their laptops to bed to play them further.
Doritos launched the survey to coincide with its Doritos Dip Desperado Facebook game. Marketing manager Hugo Amos said that "Social and mobile gaming is hugely popular and, as the survey reveals, amongst women as much as men... We wanted to create a game that is fun and entertaining for everyone. It will be exciting to see who tops the Doritos Dip Desperado Facebook leaderboard over coming weeks."

This really isn't representative of the population at all, the title is wrong for starters.
What it should say is that some female gamers prefer gaming to sex. I am sure if a larger study was conducted on more women who weren't gamers as well as are, the results would be different.
To some, gaming is addictive, same as alcohol and smoking. I am sure if you asked a smoker or an alcoholic to choose between sex and alcohol or cigarettes they would choose their addiction.
Some people view sex as something to please their partners, unfortunately, rather than something they choose as a pastime such as gaming.
On a further note, not all gamers are fat slobs, I happen to enjoy gaming and sex. Although I enjoy sex more than gaming. I also happen to be able to press the buttons on a controller and am not fat. This is stereotyping and actually quite rude.
