Capcom is bringing its Xbox 360 shooter, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, to the PC. To warm you up (or cool you down) SPOnG's got footage and screens from the new version below.

The PC version will include enhanced graphics, Capcom tells us. As well as improved shadows and more detailed textures, the game will support higher monitor resolutions. In addition to the usual mouse and keyboard control system, players will be able to plug in a control pad to play the game - so, a use for your game-port as well as a new game bonus!

“With the resurgence of the PC gaming market, it was a natural decision for us to deliver the Lost Planet experience to gamers on this platform,” said director of brand marketing for Capcom, Jack Symon.

Lost Planet has already shifted more than a million copies worldwide on the 360. Although earlier this year rumours flared of a PS3 version, the PC version was always going to be on the cards.

If you want to find out why you can read SPOnG's review here.

Lost Planet makes its PC début in June over in the States for $39.99 (£20). SPOnG contacted Capcom to see when it's due over here, but it couldn't say more than “soon.”
