New Zealand Story Heading to DS - First Info Inside

Rumour-mongering. It’s what the Internet was built for. Well, that and the distribution of hardcore pornography to sexually frustrated males worldwide. And buying previously hard to get anti-anxiety meds from Pakistan.

The biggest rumour SPOnG has heard today is that New Zealand Story is going to be released for the Nintendo DS at some point in the near future.

You remember, New Zealand Story! – it was the Amiga game that was a bit like Super Mario Bros crossed with Bubble Bobble and starred the chunky little yellow bird wearing phat blue trainers? Yes, that New Zealand Story.

Anyways, rumours are all well and good. But at some point you just have to find out if the rumour is true, or if its just been made up by some bored blogger somewhere, of which there seems to be about ten million. Or so rumour has it.

Enough of this! We called Rising Star Games. We spoke to a PR rep. He ummed and aah'ed a little, then told us, ‘Yes, it is definitely happening. We’ll have concrete information for you in the next two weeks.”
